21–26 August 2016
Dancing Museums artists are back in Bassano del Grappa for the second Italian residency of the project. After last year’s residency in Artesella - the Contemporary Mountain Museum, where they worked on a durational dance project in an open air context, the artists will work at Bassano City Museum (Museo Civico). The Museum hosts paintings and sculptures from the 13th to the early 20th century, with artworks by Jacopo dal Ponte and Canova, as well as an archaeological exhibit. The residency aims to set up an alternative guided tour to be shared with the audience on the 25th August, in two different events in the afternoon, during Operaestate’s B.Motion festival.
