RESIDENCE 1: Bassano del Grappa and Borgo Valsugana

Dancing Museums begins with the first artists residency, hosted by Centro per la Scena Contemporanea, Italy. Over a two week period the artists will take part in a range of activities including a workshop with dramaturg Peggy Olislaegers, a Parkinson’s dance class at The Civic Museum, Bassano del Grappa, attending dance performances at the B Motion Festival and working collaboratively to create a print guide for The Civic Museum to help facilitate visitor journeys.

 

The second part of the residency will focus on nature taking part in Arte Sella, an international exhibition of contemporary art, which takes place outdoors in the meadows and woods of the Sella Valley. During this part of the residency the artists will explore working on a durational dance work and create a print guide for Arte Sella.
